Tracy Perks is a quilt maker, pattern
designer, and owner of Rope & Anchor Trading Co. she lives on a canal boat
near Milton Keynes.
On Tuesday 18th July, we were excited to be
hosting Tracy in our shop for her trunk show. This was part of a road trip in
her motorhome visiting quilting shops in the North of the country.
We had a lovely day with ladies attending
from Hartlepool, Bishop Auckland, and even Wigan! One lady who had left her
holiday a day early in order to drive up. From Wigan to Hartlepool to Newcastle.
All to attend a workshop.
We stock patterns that Tracy Perks has
designed to date. With these, in the trunk show Tracy showed us the quilts she
has made to show people. Her patterns are designed for extreme beginners and
visual learners with quilters who love sewing squares.
