These quilts are from Valerie, whom, as you know, is a prolific quilter and one of our biggest supporters. We have done a variety of longarm commissions for Valerie, ranging from quilts, to tablecloths and quilted cushion fronts. Here are quilts 28,29 & 30, the latest ones collected by Valerie.
Quilt No. 28
Quilt No 28 is a lovely quilt made from lots of brightly coloured fabric with appliqued flowers. The quilting pattern used was Flower Power and this quilt measured 84” x 91”. This quilt was too large for one person to hold up so we enlisted the help of Rachel from another small business in our buliding to help.

Quilt No. 29
Quilt No. 29 is Japenese themed and is to be a Wedding Anniversary gift for a beloved daughter who lives in Canada. This quilt measured 95” long and 100” wide to fit a Canadian bed. Again this quilt was so large to hold up we had to enlist the help of Joann from another small business in our building to help hold it up. The quilting pattern on this quilt was Leaves.

Quilt No. 30
The picture on the left is before being longarmed and the picture on the right is after. This pattern is called “I’ve Lost My Marbles” by Kaffe Fassett. Each of the little circles is appliqued on to the squares by hand. Measuring 63” x 60” this was the smallest of the 3 quilts. The pattern used for quilting was Suzies Loops. What about quilts 31, 32 & 33 we hear you ask……? well these quilts were left with us when Valerie collected quilts 28, 29 & 30.
