With a little imagination, this can give you many hours of happy sewing for you, and much pleasure for your child.  The options for a sewer using this panel are manyfold.  For example, use the whole panel and simply add some wadding, backing fabric and finish it off with a binding.  Likewise, you could dissect the panel into separate pieces.  Add contrasting fabric to these to make a larger piece of work.  Indeed, if you use some of the small pieces with contrasting fabric you could make a smaller cushion, for example.  Furthermore, using a sewing machine makes your work faster to complete, but what about hand sewing?  You could even go further and use the term Trapunto to enhance parts of Birds Buddies.
