Description

This fabric design is made up of four squares. Each square is an image of a snowy country scene. This then repeats a second time with the squares in a different order.  This panel is 24″ wide by 44″ long and repeats thereafter at these dimensions.  This panel gives you so, so many different options to use.  For instance, you could add some batting and a backing fabric and use it as a panel on its own that you could hand embroider into, you could make a lovely set of cushions where you can use one panel to make separate cushions with a reversable back.  You could make 8 cushions if using a different backings.  You could cut the squares out individual and make large bunting of 12″ square.  Placemats, table mats, table runners are other options. Wall or door hangings.

If you want to experiment with Italian Trapunto quilting then this panel is ideal for doing that.  Trapunto is where you use an extra layer of wadding for certain parts of the design so the whole square could have one piece of wadding on but then you add an extra piece for different parts of the scene.  This would then lift this proud of the backing to give a 3-d effect.
