On first look, Olfa cutting mats are quite a lot thinner than some other cutting mats available. However, Olfa design their products to work and compliment each other. For instsnce, the blades on an Olfa Rotary Cutter will last longer and stay saharper if you use an Olfa cutting mat. This is also the same for the use of an Olfa cutting mat which will “heal” a lot better and thus last a lot longer if you use an Olfa Rotary Cutter.
