Advent Calendar – Let It Snow – Santa’s Workshop
Let it Snow – Santas Workshop is a beautiful, traditional advent calendar for you to make. This advent calendar uses the traditional form of box pleats for attaching the numbered pockets to the backing. It is easy to do and if you desire, you can back the main panel with some wadding and backing. To this you could quilt this before adding the box pleats onto the front. This will make it more substantial and an heirloom piece of work for you to hand down.
Of course, no advent calendar would be complete without the army of Santa’s little helpers called elves. Santa’s little helpers, make the toys for all the good boys and girls and maybe, good mammy’s and daddy’s.
Elves are special little people who can be seen making toys in the different windows of the workshop. Of course, what you see here is only a very small portion of the work that the elves do all year round. They now have huge workshops and work 3 shifts a day. Santa reads the wonderful letters that good boys and girls (and mammy’s and Daddy’s) sent to him every year.
We all know Santa is good when it comes to the environment as he’s used reindeer power for absolute eons. The Let it snow advent calendar would not be complete without paying homage to the band of special reindeers. Santa uses these to deliver his toys and presents to all the good boys and girls every Christmas eve. How do you know that Santa delivers presents on Christmas Eve? Well if you are like me you can watch Santa on his way to your house by looking here.
No Christmas advent calendar would be complete without a bit of bling! The let it snow advent calendar has that bling with metallic gold to add a festive look.
