Bronia’s Bed Runner
Bronia came to us for a beginners lesson with Alan where she was given a history of quilting, learned the basics of quilting, and then made a Lavender pouch to take away. The aim of the lesson was to make a bed runner for her daughter’s new house.
Bronia made the bed runner, with our guidance, using squares from fabric that her daughter had previously chosen. The white border is Liberty Silhouette Lindy Lou, which was purchased from us and a white backing fabric was used.
The pattern that Bronia chose for us to quilt it with is called Heart Triangles.
This is the finished product, in situ. Considering Bronia had never quilted before we think she has done a fabulous job, and her daughter is over the moon.
