This week we had a new lady, Lynne, attended our drop in this week. Following a visit to us a few weeks earlier for advice on a quilting project she was embarking on.
Lynne is a beginner quilter and didn’t know how to start with her quilting project. After giving her advice we suggested she come and join our group on a Thursday and be with like minded people.
After giving her help and advice she went away and did what Alan suggested with her quilt she came back to our drop in with her quilt for more advice. She stayed the full day and thoroughly enjoyed herself, she came with a quilt and made her first ever cushion using some left over wadding she had from her quilt. She was over the moon with the outcome and bought some more fabric and another cushion pad to make another one at home to match her sofa.
