Winter Moon Advent Calendar. Advent is the period of four Sundays and weeks before Christmas (or sometimes from the 1st December to Christmas Eve!). The word Advent from the latin word ‘adventus’ meaning ‘Arrival’ or ‘Coming’. This is the arrival or coming of Jesus into the world. Christians use the four Sundays and weeks of Advent to prepare and remember the real meaning of Christmas.
Another addition to the Winter Moon Collection is the ready-to-sew Christmas Calendar. No cutting out of pockets and sewing on, simply fold and line the pockets up where indicated, press, and sew. As well as the actual calendar there are also some smaller designs down the sides which are perfect for making tree decorations.
Co-ordinate it with some fabrics from the rest of the collection and you have got yourself a gorgeous advent calendar that can be used for generations to come.
