Description

The Very Hungry Caterpillar was first written and published in 1969 as a picture book.  It was written, designed, and illustrated by Eric Carle who was an American children’s author and illustrator.

As many people know it is a very popular book, with over 50 million copies sold and translated into 60 languages.  It has been acclaimed as “one of the greatest childhood classics of all time,” and won praise for its art style.
