Tiny Flowers in Dusky Rose, part of the Good Boy and Kitty fabric collection from Lynette Anderson exclusively for Nutex. This fabric has tiny prints of flowers with 5 petals in colours of dark orange and white. These dinky little flowers, measuring approximately 5mm across the face are printed on a luscious background of a dusky mauve. There is also an amazingly subtle texture print in the background.
There are, what appear to be hand-drawn lines is a very light mauve of approximately one millimetre thick. In this design, the lines bring to mind that of a gingham square. This aspect has a subtlety that is so miniscule, you need to focus on this aspect of the fabric to see it. Tiny Flowers Dusky Rose.
In some of the gingham-type squares, there are, again very subtle midnight blue spots. These are so small that you would think the designer, Lynette Anderson had dropped a pen point onto the original design. Again, the subtlety of the blue points seriously adds to the overall design even if you don’t see them at first.
The overall theme of this collection has playful prints, featuring cute dogs and cats frolicking and playing in the garden. This is complemented by a pretty mauve, multi-print floral and a Midnight Blue Gingham. A worthy part of anyone’s fabric stash from such an accomplished designer.
