Liberty London Parks – Park Gates. There are lots of parks and green spaces to be discovered in London. Such as natural beauty spots, from woodlands and wetlands to parks, heaths and gardens.
When designing this collection Liberty Fabrics designers found inspiration all over the city. These included the formal ornamental planting of the Royal Parks to the wild climbing plants of Highgate. And, of course, not forgetting the gorgeous array of blooms found at Kew.
Liberty London Parks – Park Gates collection takes us on a captivating day trip through different activities. In particular, flying kites, and enjoying an al fresco picnic among the flowers.
The collection is traditionally screen printed onto Lasenby cotton, a base specifically developed for quilting and craft projects.
Cotton is an everyday marvel of a fabric soft yet durable, cooling yet warming. With this collection, discover an array of brilliant colours and intricate patterns in this cotton fabric collection. A perfect fit to suit the most imaginative projects.
Named after the founder of Liberty, Arthur Lasenby Liberty, Lasenby Cotton was designed specifically with crafting in mind. Made from 100% cotton, and printed using traditional screen-printing techniques, Lasenby weighs 146 grams per square metre. Thus, this makes it very stable and perfect for quilting.
Fabric is sold by the long fat quarter unless otherwise stated on the order. If you order meterage this will be sent out as one piece.
