Quilting on a longarm machine is something we do for clients. Accordingly, here are 4 quilts we have done for a client, Julia recently. Julia is a foster parent and when a foster child leaves her she makes them a quilt to take on their next journey with them.
She was absolutely delighted with how the quilts turned out after we longarmed them. When she has done the binding on each one she will be passing them on to her foster children.
Here goes…..
Quilt No. 1.
We called this quilt Gnomes & Rabbits. Mixed in amongst all the lovely colours were fabrics depicting Gnomes & Rabbits. The backing fabric chosen for this was Shadows Wide Cream and the wadding used was 50/50 Bamboo.
Quilt No. 2
Quilt No. 2, for obvious reasons, we named dinosaurs. The back of the quilt is Shadows Wide Forest and the wadding is 50/50 Bamboo.
