Here are the final two of FOUR quilts we have done for Julia. In ‘Julia and her quilts Pt1, we explained that Julia is a foster parent and when a foster child leaves her she makes them a quilt to take on their next journey with them.
Quilt No 3. Bird Panel Quilt
This brightly coloured bird panel was quilted with Triangle Heart pattern. The backing fabric was Fire & Ice and the wadding was 50/50 bamboo.
Quilt No 4. Multi-coloured Rail Fence
This multi-coloured quilt was quilted with a straight line stipple pattern. The backing fabric is Dilkara and once again 50/50 bamboo wadding was used.
